The John T. Alsop Jr. Bridge is a concrete arch bridge that spans the St. Johns River in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. The bridge was built in 1949 and is named after John T. Alsop Jr., a prominent businessman and civic leader in Jacksonville. The bridge measures 1,649 feet long and has a main span of 400 feet. It has four traffic lanes, sidewalks on both sides, and a height clearance of 60 feet.
